When you book a consultation, you’ll be asked to complete a questionnaire that captures key information about your medical history, symptoms, and goals for the consultation. Our experts use this information to understand what you’re hoping to achieve before the consultation, and prepare for an in-depth discussion shaped by your priorities.
During your consultation, you’ll have the opportunity to talk to an experienced and empathetic expert about any new or persistent symptoms that you’re experiencing. You can ask questions, learn more about possible causes and explore what steps might be best for you - from lifestyle changes to medical treatments. Our experts are here to listen, and tailor suggestions to your unique circumstances and preferences.
If you opt to speak with one of our doctors, they can discuss potential diagnoses and causes of symptoms, recommend specific treatments, write prescriptions (including HRT), and provide guidance on how to get the most out of any medication you choose to take.*
If you choose to speak with one of our menopause mentors, they can provide insights and information about menopause, discuss the pros and cons of different potential treatments, and share lifestyle advice and guidance on evidence-backed ways to improve your symptoms. They cannot provide diagnoses, write prescriptions or give individual treatment advice.
Should our experts be unable to answer your health queries on the day, or if you require further medical attention that can only be given in person, they can signpost you to a service where you can get the support you need.
*Please note that the doctor will only be able to give direct advice and support for symptoms relating to perimenopause and menopause - these consultations are not intended to cover specific conditions such as PCOS or PMDD, nor other hormonal health topics such as fertility.
